BUSINESS INSURANCE · TEXAS
Cover the project while it takes shape
A building under construction faces different risks from a completed property. Builders risk coverage can help protect eligible work in progress and materials during the project.

Every build has its own timeline
Tell us whether it's a new build or renovation, who owns the project, the construction budget, where materials are stored, and when work is expected to finish. We'll help compare suitable builders risk options.
Serving all of Texas from office locations in Friendswood (281-482-4244) and New Braunfels (830-631-8110), or send a request.
Work in progress
Builders risk may cover the structure and certain materials or supplies against specified covered causes of loss during construction.
Materials and locations
Coverage for materials in transit or off-site storage varies by policy; we'll ask where project property will be kept.
Project changes
Extensions, change orders, and occupancy can affect coverage. We can help review what needs updating as the project evolves.
Clarify who insures the job—and for how long
Contract language may put the responsibility on an owner, developer, or contractor. Compare deductibles, valuation, exclusions, and any wind or flood terms before work begins. Builders risk is not a substitute for liability or workers’ compensation.
Coordinate the rest of the job-site plan
Pair the project policy with contractors insurance, general liability, and tools & equipment as appropriate.
